My name is Anirudha, and I built NextoPDF because I was frustrated. I had a 45MB portfolio PDF for a job application, and every job site rejected it. "File too large." "Maximum 10MB." I spent hours looking for a tool that would shrink it - everything either wanted my credit card or added ugly watermarks.
That 45MB file became 8MB using a tool I built myself in a weekend. I shared it with a few friends. One was a lawyer with 40 boxes of old contracts who needed to make them searchable. Another was a baker who couldn't post her menu on Instagram because it was a PDF. A realtor needed to send listing brochures without email bouncing back.
